Foster Eligible Animals
There are a variety of foster opportunities available at Southern Pines including fostering neonatal kittens, nursing moms and babies, underage puppies, or even medical fostering for skin conditions or surgery recovery. Each animal on this page has an urgent need to find a foster home- for more information about an individual animal please contact our foster coordinators at [email protected] or come by the shelter in person to meet them and get them home more quickly! Please be mindful that fostering is first come, first serve. Making an appointment for a specific animal does not reserve or hold the animal. The eligibility of the animals below is subject to change based on their medical and behavioral needs and the movement of animals out of the shelter to foster or adoptive homes.
