We have many sponsorship opportunities that will allow us to raise funds for reaching our goal to save more dogs and cats than ever before. Becoming a sponsor for a dog, cat, or life-saving program at Southern Pines Animal Shelter makes you a part of something great - a team dedicated to helping pets in need find their loving forever homes.

Please contact us at rescue@southernpinesanimalshelter.org for more information and make your donation to sponsor.

Thank you!

Sponsor an Adoption Fee

Sponsoring an adoption fee helps us to give extra attention to overlooked dogs and cats. $100 sponsors the adoption fee of a dog, and $50 sponsors the adoption fee of a cat.

Sponsor a kennel

For $1,000 you can sponsor the care and upkeep of one kennel for a whole year at Southern Pines. From shelter, to enrichment, to food and medicine, caring for the animals in the 51 shelter kennels requires time, attention, and donations. On average each kennel will be home to 75 dogs or puppies each year. Click below to find out how to become a yearly sponsor.

Healing Hearts Program

Each year, we take in hundreds of heartworm positive dogs. These dogs are most at-risk for euthanasia, but you can give them a second chance by donating towards their treatment. $300 sponsors treatment for one dog, but no amount is too small to save a life.

Free to Be Program

Help to save the lives of community cats by sponsoring their neuter and rabies vaccine. Feral and community cats are not socialized pets but are more like wild animals, who have traditionally been the most euthanized population in shelter settings.  Your contribution will help Southern Pines to continue saving the lives of these community animals by stabilizing the population and letting these community cats be free to be.
