Capicola: The Little Cat That Could

Picture
Capicola (AKA Gabagool) came to Southern Pines this past October after being found abandoned on someone's front stoop, drenched in some kind of oily substance and dragging herself around using her front paws. It was clear to us that she had either sustained some type of injury or deformity to her hind legs. Cats with challenges like Capicola typically do not do well in a shelter environment where resources are limited, but thanks to a committed staff and a compassionate community who've donated their time, resources, homes, and love, this little cat is getting the opportunity to rewrite her story...

Capicola is currently in a fantastic foster home where she is being showered with love and attention. However, she's still looking for her forever person. If you think that could be you, or if you're interested in donating toward her care, please contact us at 601-544-6632.
